MIL-DTL-117 Type I Class E Style 1

MIL DTL 117  is the specification the government uses when it determines that an item it needs must be shipped to them in a bag form. Class E bags must be formed using two sheets or by folding one sheet of material. All heat-sealable surfaces of the bag shall be placed face to face, and heat-sealing along both sides of the bag and the bottom edge as required. All transparent bags fabricated by the side weld process should be folded and have two durable side seams. The side seams should be parallel to each other and to the outer edges of the bag. The bottom fold must be at a right angle to the side seams. These bags are designed to meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-131K Class 1.
